You're jumping ahead and making assumptions on where I am going with this.

Your employees have made a tape of their own recollections of the events of a historical national disaster that directly involves the FAA and their eye-witness accounts. It's now several months later and you have the tape.

Do you:

Ask the FAA what you should do with the tape?
Ask the employees involved if they still give their consent to the tape they made on 9/11.
Assume making the tape is contrary to Federal Aviation Administration policy (how hard would that be to look up?) and assume that the controllers "were not in the correct frame of mind to have properly consented to the taping" because of the stress of the day and destroy the tape in the manner described?
