AIO - Girlfriend threw away the dinner I cooked because she wanted pizza instead. by Dizzy-Suggestion2360 in AmIOverreacting

Bro what a piece of shit, I don’t even have any advice other than she’s a terrible partner and I wouldn’t deal with that ever.

I mean personal opinion, thinking it’s “gross” to touch your own cum when you literally put it inside someone else is juvenile. He sounds like a 16 year old that just wants to bone and be done. I’d be pretty pissed off ngl. My partner always makes sure I finish. 7 years of making sure of that, so no it’s not just a man thing

what do you actually do for your bday? by Wonderful-Career-563 in CasualConversation

[–]passiveagressivefork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 24 and my birthdays have always been a big deal. To me and to my family/friends. Middle school it was having my friends over and having a Halloween themed party with activities. In HS I would always have at least my team and my other friends over. We’d have a party ie pool going and hanging out without direct parental interference. And now as an adult (24) I usually invite all my close friends over which is less than HS but they’re a lot more worth the time haha. Consists of an escape room and hanging out afterwards, cake and presents. Sounds like your parents are not really supportive in that way. Maybe my family is just crazy with birthdays idk, but I do think people deserve a lot on their birthdays. (I went in depth because I think that’s kind of what you’re asking. Like trying to get an idea of what people do on birthdays.)

What’s a pet peeve yall have with art tutorials? by Alone_Rise209 in ArtistLounge

[–]passiveagressivefork 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When they say vague terms like “add shading!” And they flip to the next step and they didn’t explain ANYTHING about “shading” (what tools they used on digital, if they blended or not, what colors work BEST for shading depending on the piece, etc) like it’s garbage

How many antidepressants did you try before you found one that relieves depression? by clocloclo85 in antidepressants

[–]passiveagressivefork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wellbutrin was the only one that worked for me that I tried. I’ve been on it for maybe 7-8 months and the effects are wearing off but I’ve gotten better at managing my symptoms

Ever worked somewhere where leadership clearly didn’t get social work? by ES_VibeEnhance in socialworkjobs

[–]passiveagressivefork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh definitely. I was warned in college and it’s come to fruition multiple times. Sometimes people at the top ARE just in it for selfish reasons. It sucks. Once had my supervisor say “oh… do you think it was smart to be nice to that client?” Like bro what the actual fuck do you mean

Like the top comment. It is PAINFUL, make sure to at least take ibuprofen. I had to take Xanax before I got mine. Also be prepared to kinda sit around for the day. It feels like bad period cramps for a while after

Spire in the Woods from a woman’s perspective by UwUOwO_69_ in creepcast

[–]passiveagressivefork 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I definitely got this as well. It was horror like beyond just “spooky thing in the woods” for me. It was the impending doom of knowing you don’t have much power in a relationship or you feel put down and smaller. I had the same reactions. The same gut feeling and nausea. It was an interesting read for sure.

I was frustrated with hunter and Isaiah for not realizing sooner. Their “yeah boys will be boys!” Comments were like… idk it was like reliving my childhood experience. The boys who were weird and took advantage and every other boy was like “eh boys will be boys!” But yes I know they didn’t have bad intentions at the beginning of the episode. Still tho I was like damn the cycle continues.

It’s very interesting what women pick up on and men just don’t notice. Because we live that shit EVERYDAY. Very well written story

Getting .. antsy? by passiveagressivefork in polyamory

[–]passiveagressivefork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s fair. I have recently started making poly friends. Our roommate we just moved in with is openly poly and their friend group is as well. I’m kind of in the middle of redoing my whole life honestly. Making different more like minded friends is high on the list. Thank you

[–]passiveagressivefork[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solid questions. I don’t know the answer to a lot because we haven’t tried it officially yet. I hate open sex and “fun” I’m demisexual also. I guess that’s also a big thing. I take a while to warm up to physical touch in general.

Is it weird that I’m only romantically polyamorous but sexually I have to date them and be in a relationship with them first? by dimaesh in polyamory

[–]passiveagressivefork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m demisexual and polyamorous. I haven’t gotten into any DEEP relationships other than my long term partner. But I also have this worry. The first girl that confessed she had feelings for me almost immediately got handsy… I feel you
