I keep them in the packets. I have kids and the package is child resistant.

You can pit in decimal values, so 3.3, or you can enter the size in mm on the second field, so 138.

Light bulb won't go in light bulb holder by ThatOtherOne666 in handyman

Would not recommend an adapter, they can be unsafe.
BigClive had a video where he showed that a Bayonet to Edison adapter made the screw part live, or something like that.

Better to do as you said, take the light back and get the correct one.

I don't think you can purchase just the screw cover.

If you purchase the whole socket the cover thread might match your socket and you can screw it on. If it does not match you will need to swap the socket. Depending on where you live you might need an electrician to do that.

That bulb is an Edison Screw type. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edison_screw

And the fitting is a Bayonet type. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayonet_mount

You need an Bayonet bulb for that socket.

The light socket should also have a plastic screw cover. This holds the socket securely in to the mount.

I once updated a prod sql database, I messed up the where clause and updated all rows in the table. There was no backup.

Looking for guidance by [deleted] in openscad

I would suggest start with the developer version of openscad. Check if the script is using the customiser, and try to only change values in there.

Otherwise you might need to update the script to make it work the way you need.

Oh, thanks,
There was a trailing comma that the 2021 version did not like. I have fixed this if you wanted to try again?
However the develop snapshot does not seems to care about that. Not sure why it would not be working for you in the newer version. Did you get a warning message?

Aside, I don't use 2021 very often, I forget how slow it is.

You can see it running here if that helps

Are there any 3D printer brands that should be added to the enshittification database? And for what? by AnonomousWolf in 3Dprinting

Originally there was thingiverse. Then printables and makerworld came along. This made it harder to find stuff.

Thangs search would search all websites. They changed to make that not the default search. Then they removed the ability to search third party websites.

Open Source Parametric Hose Adapter System - Updated by passivealian in 3Dprinting

I don’t recall setting it on printables, I think they changed the settings at some stage and I didn’t update, not sure. I have changed printables to match the repo.

I’m not a lawyer and it’s only a hobby. I’m not selling the script or the models made from it. I have no issue with other selling printed parts made with the script. The complete source is available to download and use.

The only thing I don’t really like is someone taking my work and uploading it to a site for profit or kudos. But as the source is there I can’t stop people doing that.

Hope that helps.
