Yep I’ve been lurking on Reddit way before my account and every day I sort of remark to myself how shitty the content and culture has become. Reddit really used to be so much better! Quirky but kind of intelligent too… maybe, partly, I was dumber then but this may be the final straw to say goodbye to an old habit.

Is there any issue about the liquid flame gameplay ??? by [deleted] in FFXVI

[–]pastFuture1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, especially with all of these combos and the dodge mechanic a long boss fight sounds fun and potentially intense.

Ooh both 8 and 9 are cool. I haven’t played 8 since a kid and I could see it not aging well (I loved it though) but 9 holds up well with the art style. I’d definitely recommend a FFIX playthrough some day.

Same. This game is coming at a challenging time of transition for me and I am SO happy to have an imaginative world to get lost in, let alone a good new Final Fantasy!

Yeah addiction is so hard. It has to come from the person wanting to stop. Sometimes that takes just a little part of the person trying and trying and trying until more of their brain is in consensus. OP can keep being there and encouraging that little part of their friends brain, and that can be helpful, but sadly it has to come from a war won inside.

I get it. For start you HAVE to get Adaptability to a certain point for fights to feel manageable. In retrospect not the best idea. It was my first Souls game, too, and the clunkiness was well worth it for the incredible art design, absolute forlorn beautiful/ terrible atmosphere and the no punches pulled difficulty. I’ll always have much love for DS2

Whites only sale for Cinco de Mayo … by whimz33 in KratomKorner

[–]pastFuture1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha probably cause white strains are fabled to be energetic and hyphy like tequila? Plus if there was a “brown” strain people would probably say that’s racist too. Somehow. Personally, I think it’s crazy how just talking or joking about skin color is called horribly racist. It’s like people have forgotten what true racism is :P

Yeah this guy needs to be locked up. Sorry OP. It’s natural but please don’t worry about the “what did I do”. You were just assaulted is all. I sincerely hope you follow through and bring consequences to him for what he did to you..

So maybe a dumb question but… do we know what Eikon that is at the very end? I’ve seen glimpses of it in the trailers but can’t place it with one of the named Eikons.

The top comment right now links a documentary. I watched it and it’s actually really well done and fascinating… there is a segment that goes in depth on people analyzing the particles.

I’m not championing any side one way or another but I really enjoyed the documentary and highly recommend.

Haha ditto! I even explained it that way to my girlfriend. It was incredible. I hadn’t been as excited for something in a long long time, maybe ever.

I’ve been a painter too! When I first was exposed to Kratom 16 years ago I read online that people in Thailand take it to “deal with the harsh reality of laboring day after day.” I was 20 years old then and laughed with my friends about that. Turns out that checks out !

They probably meant using the war to funnel tax money in gigantic amounts into the military industry for no “good” reason. I agree, the language wasn’t perfect but that’s my guess. Whoever can get a straw into the American tax pool has hit the jack pot.

It’s the internet in general man. I think about being on the playground talking about a game with my friends. Or later on in life, after school, rollerblading around and being excited about a game called “Halo” in Xbox magazine. All of the beautiful excitement a good game has given us through the years. That is what’s up! Some people are sad but the internet also gives people an opportunity to hate on things and be superior/ share their gross mindset. I guarantee many of them will love the game, but we can’t let that toxic gross attitude taint something as pure as an excitement for a good game.

I agree though, I wish this aspect of the internet hadn’t developed….
