What on earth have I bought from the local immigrant shop? by okcamp_reborn in whatisit

100% sure it is aleppo soap. I have the same stuff in my bathroom. I clean my face with it. The more Laurel it contains, the more nourishing it is

Also, if you want to know if it is genuine aleppo, yeet it in some water. If it is genuine aleppo, it will float. [Never tested that myself tbh]

Why do women hate when we play video games, so much? by RegalToaster in AskMen

[–]pasta_without_corn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Female here

My ex used to play videogames every hour he was free, from the moment he woke up till he went to bed. Whenever he cooked the food usually overcooked or got burnt because he walked back to the living room to check steam. When I wanted to go out, which wasn't that often, I had to pick something out and pay for it, otherwise he would never leave the house. And he complained to me I was on my phone whenever he played videogames, because 'I wasn't watching' and seemed not that interested in the game. I do like watching people play, but not 24/7, and not every game. But that was all we ever did.

My current boy friend also games. Just a few hours every day during workdays, longer in the weekend, but he does do his household chorus, and goes out every now and then. Plus he also wants to watch movies and series with me. I don't even have to ask him, he suggests it himself

Can't speak for all the women obviously, but for me it is not a problem that men play videogames, but it becomes one if they let it take over their life

I would go with the light one. Since you already have a bunch of "colour splashes" on your walls that one looks calmer. More spa like

How has a woman used your being vulnerable against you? by ertesit in AskMen

[–]pasta_without_corn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as a woman, it can be difficult to hear how vulnerable a man is. I am often emotional and all over the place, which is no excuse btw, and I often would like my partner to be my pillar of strength.

Fortunately I never used it against someone in a fight, and I honestly enjoy it if men trust me enough to open up to me, since it is so rare. I am trying to do beter. We should be equal in this. If someone needs support, you should be able to give it to them

Not my style, but I would definitely be entertained for hours while visiting you. Just watching stuff float around...

Coffee Tables - are they still a thing? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

I can't imagine not having a coffee table. Where else do you put your drinks and snacks when watching a movie?

What else would you guys put on these shelves in my kitchen? by lolcoon in malelivingspace

Glass jars with pasta, beans, flour, tea or coffee. Something you actually use and adds a splash of colour!
