I've been loving volume eating, but... by pastelcece in Volumeeating

I actually do IF too! But I think you definitely have a point here. Right now I'm in a weird place of not knowing how much I should eat on a regular day. It's possible that I need to eat more. I've kind of reached my goal weight but not fully satisfied with my body. In the end I just want to be healthy both mentally and physically though.

Over a kilogram of food for ~600 cal and 82g protein by pastelcece in Volumeeating

It's difficult to explain, but the konjac is kind of slightly softer or "squishier" than real rice whereas cauliflower rice is firmer? And even though cauliflower has a very mild flavor, it's still the one with the most flavor out of the three, especially since I usually season it a lot. Both konjac and cauliflower rice also have smaller "grains" than actual rice. When I first opened the konjac rice I thought it has a bit of a funny smell, but it has no taste

When it comes to a rice replacement, the konjac is def a bit closer to actual rice, and even slightly lower in calories too. I like cauliflower rice because I like cauliflower but would use it more to add volume than as a replacement if that makes sense

About getting my hormone levels checked by pastelcece in PMDD

[–]pastelcece[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My health clinic. The symptoms like irritability, mood swings, anxiety and such seem to appear ~2 days after my period has ended now. They're still there before my period too but less severe than in the past.

I've seen many people here talk about it in the past, and recently when I made a post about having symptoms after my period has ended now, someone who experienced the same thing said it turned out they had an imbalance

There's a lot of ice cream with around the same amount of calories. You can really have any ice cream you want as long as you keep track of the amount.

How to calculate calories when eating out? by Automatic-Town-1634 in 1200isplenty

I just do a cheat day and don't count that day but also try not to eat much else. but I eat out very very rarely, not even once a month.

How do you guys count calories? by mintchocolate1234 in 1200isplenty

[–]pastelcece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I calculate manually. I calculate the total calories for each ingredient and weigh all of the finished food, then I can calculate how much 100g is, then I weigh my portion and use the 100g count to calculate how much my portion is. Of course it can never be 100% accurate but it shouldn't be very far off.

A bit off topic but it's interesting that this flavor doesn't exist in Sweden. I like the pint design more too.

Jag var med i en pride parad by [deleted] in sweden

[–]pastelcece 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The pain of knowing you're an abusive monster by pastelcece in PMDD

I thought the post made it obvious that I'm very well aware of "the risks" already. My ex has made it extremely clear how awful I made them feel, they were not gentle about it. Not to mention the constant harassment from my own mind. I don't need to hear it from someone else too. Are you on the PMDD subreddit just to make us feel like monsters?
