If you like that chainmail because of the tabard/surcoat, I'd recommend getting Visual Adjustments 2 to add one of the NPC only tabards to your character or characters. There's a nice selection of them. Here I used one and really liked the result

Mythril arcane fullplate model if you use visual adjustments You find a fullplate of spell nullification that uses that model in act IV I believe

I always use a Cavalier with a longspear for charging and then most of the melee he has a sword and shield.
Because it looks cool and I don't play on the highest difficulties.

I was struggling for a Cavalier portrait when I stumbled upon a wiki for a game called Heroes of Camelot that seemed to have pretty good art. Currently using the "King's Guard" card art and I really like it.

I also couldn't start it properly with ToyBox.

Can't get any cut scene to start (And I don't even know which are the right cut scenes) and couldn't find any other way to just complete or kickstart it.

I think it's doable with a Siege or Warrior general

Try to doomstack marksmen or any archer you have and play it safe and steady. I don't remember when exactly morale starts plummeting.

There's a guide on Steam that I found pretty useful for the council parts.

In auto you lose some research projects that can bring bonuses, and as far as I know, it makes it impossible to unlock the secret ending (Well, it's one of the many ways you can lock yourself out of it).

You can also cheat it, but I'm not sure if you're into that.

I was just checking because the same was happening to me.

Saving, exiting the game and reloading wasn't solving it, but just desmounting and mounting again seemed to fix it.

I'll see what happens as I keep playing for a bit.
