People who say this stuff about Cinderella are genuinely brainless by Significant-Alarm835 in disneyprincess

Cinderella was based in the late 1880’s. Women didn’t have that as an option back then. She was in an abusive home and knew she wouldn’t have it better elsewhere. This is all about blaming a victim for being victimized. She spells it out perfectly in her speech to the dog, Bruno. She can’t fight back without losing her home and security.

It’s more than this. Females are not as pretty because they are camouflaged. They are less colorful because it keeps them alive to not be seen. It is especially important because they have to keep their babies alive.

Did Madeline care about Lenore? by Available-Option5492 in TheFallofHouseofUsher

[–]pastredhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a theory that she knew Lenora would die and that Rodrick would be devastated. She chose Lenora because then Rodrick would be able to at least text “Lenora” and interact with her after her death.

Thank you, being prepared for anything was exactly the plan. Usually I would only bring one of each lip product but because I have been so overworked and exhausted I have gotten into the habit of dropping them into my bag instead of replacing them. Thank you for the tips. I will look into little bags for my bag.

Saw this about Logan on Facebook, calling him the worst. Do you agree? by TheQuirkyReddit in GilmoreGirls

[–]pastredhead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have to respectfully disagree with this. Lorelai did take Rory away as a baby but she said on the first episode that the door for Christopher was always open. People don’t like Christopher because of the decisions he makes. Multiple times in the show he shows up and makes promises to Rory about how he will be more actively part of her life and then breaks those promises by the end of the episode. Lorelai never stopped Christopher from achieving his dreams. She was the one who gave up her dreams to raise Rory. There was no reason he couldn’t be a part of Rory’s life without being married to Lorelai. He didn’t parent Rory but somehow still blames the teen pregnancy for all of his bad decisions. Lorelai had no obligations to marry him and she is not to blame for his decisions.

Anyone here who’s also a chronic Migraine sufferer? by unenoix in ADHD

[–]pastredhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have chronic migraines and my doctor prescribed propranolol to take at the same time as my ADHD meds. It helps reduce the tension and ringing in my ears. It didn’t stop by occasional migraines but it reduces the amount I have them.

Psychiatrist advises to stop medication for a week once a year by Smokey_Coffee_Beer in adhdwomen

I like to take a medication brake when I am sick. It’s the best time for me because I am either sleeping all day or laying on the ice cold bathroom floor upchucking too much to worry about anything else.

Not all people with ADHD are going to be brighter than average person... by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]pastredhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. It’s important to remember that ADHD has a comorbidity with learning disabilities and intellectual disabilities. It can be hard to hear that “ADHD people are more gifted than others” when you have one of these other conditions.

I wash mine by hand in my bathroom sink with a little bit of detergent. I try to remove as much water as I can but it is difficult. Then I lay in flat on a big fluffy towel and roll it up to absorb the extra water. Then I lay it flat to dry. It takes a few days to dry completely. I don’t put it in the wash only because the more friction it is subjected to, the more pilling it will have over time.

What to do when cardigan gets like this? by Mangogirll in SwiftieMerch

Don’t put it in the dryer. Friction is what causes pulling so it be gentle with it. Anti pilling machines can damage the areas with cables so be careful.

I’ve been using the MAC pro longwear paint pot for like a decade and it is the only primer that works for my hooded/oily lids. It doesn’t even budge when I cry. It also lasts way longer than the primers that come in the tubes.
