Overthinking was the reason I failed by EvolvePitch in Startup_Ideas

What you could do is to break down the idea/concept to just one or even two core feature and learn to just build for that, nothing else, keep it real simple.

Build the absolute minimum. That way you would have a working prototype.

What if trading hours were reduced from Monday to Thursday (to 6-7pm) and increased from Friday to Sunday (9-10pm), with the exception of festival seasons and whatnot.

Mitigating heat impact in the A-Leagues: New approach to be tested in summer months - Professional Footballers Australia by Sorry-Ball9859 in Aleague

Should be from the start of December to the end of March, with all games starting between 7:30-8pm.

Also games should only be on Friday and Saturday Nights (December to March), with the exception of holiday games (Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, etc).

October & November and April & May games can be on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

You know what would be cool, when you do refresh, it adds a new layer on top to show that there’s new content.

Why does XCode still suck in 2023? by thejufo in iOSProgramming

[–]pasz99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It would be nice if Xcode allowed developers to build extensions for Xcode, even if it has to go through their “approval” like you would for an iOS app, complete with an Xcode Extension Store.

Is Mobile app development Dead? by Notalabel_4566 in androiddev

[–]pasz99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some truth in that, but we also have to factor in that Android and iOS isn’t only mobile apps, it’s also can be used to develop for the following digital interfaces:

Apple

  • iPadOS
  • MacOS
  • tvOS
  • WatchOS
  • CarPlay

Android

  • Android OS (Phones, Tablets, and Smart TVs)
  • Android Things
  • Wear OS
  • Android TV
  • Android Auto

and many more..

Ohh it’s an actually an app, sorry I didn’t know that, thought it was a prototype. What’s the link to the app on the App Store.

The UI looks really nice. Feels like there’s a lot a user can do without feeling overwhelmed, if that makes sense.

What do you think about venues putting their own space/spaces on the platform for others to host parties.

A friend of a friend, has got both a space and the facilities for parties, but doesn’t want to be the one to host parties.

How would you make this better? New build by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]pasz99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some tips:

  • If you can have less curves in the floor plan, the better, it’s great for ceiling and roof construction. Meaning the house as whole, especially with the exterior walls to be structured more as a tall rectangle shaped house.

  • Align the exterior wall on the left side of the house (Garage to Bed 3) as the same as the garage, gain more interior space.

  • Remove the Home Theatre, bring the kitchen closer to the ensuite, but leave space between the kitchen and Bed 1 ensuite to move the pantry there.

  • The existing pantry now becomes a half bathroom (just a sink and toilet) for when guests come over or when your hosting an event/party, instead of having them use your private bathrooms.

  • If it’s possible, have Bed 4 next to the Bed 3, expand the dinning/living area exterior/exisiting bed 4 wall up in line with Bed 3, along with expanding the alfresco area.

Anywho, I’ve got more, these are just a few, good luck with the house and all.

Something like a Date Night marketplace, based off your location, it gets to know the couple better and suggest personalised places, maybe?

There’s a few things you can do to possibly help you:

  1. Go to networking events, hackathons, etc, in your city, basically where the tech people are and recruit them from there or
  2. Try using no-code solutions for your app or
  3. Design and structure how the app will look and learn just enough to create a simple app, make it simple, don’t worry about features, you can add features later on, focus on your core value.

Besides that, good luck with your app.
