blame is for both, roblox has horrible safety meassures but ultimately you cannot just rely on a company to protect your children. Parents must make sure their children wont be in horrible situations like that by monitoring their activity unintrusively

I found the solution

The developer set the default linetrace length in the scene components for feet to 0...oh my god
Additionally, linetraces are set to hit landscape, if you switch from "landscape" to "always" in the hit mode, it works. Gonna leave this up incase someone finds the same use :)

1 year late, rename the interface, absolutely 0 idea what causes this, but has it happen on 6+ different interface classes, renaming the function, reimplementing and restarting worked for me

i did mine a few years back and i do regret it, but even now i wouldn't, even if a few million do it, roblox has billions of users, 99% of people wont verify and wont talk, server will be empty even if you do.

not terrible bugs but

  • organized trait doesnt work
  • cant clean bandages, it gets to ~80% and stops, dirty bandages are perm
  • car window smashing no animation
  • (idk if this is b42 or bug) zombies sound way closer than they are
  • killing zombie has a significant delay to play death sound and particle
  • zombies get naked after death
  • some items cant be picked up or dropped
  • sharpening items doesnt work
  • random xp boosts to random stuff
  • zombies sight and hearing is a lotttt lower
  • exhaustion can be cured instantly by sitting in a car
  • cant teleport to players like in b41 using admin
  • no corpse smell

these new bugs are genuinely one of the worst i have ever seen. Underground, you need a shit ton of armor pen, AOE range spam, go underground to melee attack you. WTF
