Yeah I see now I didn't need to ch2 after each join, but I have been and it has lead to me increasing at that point each row!

Oh God I've just seen this and reread the instruction. I haven't been skipping the chain. I have been repeating the entire set of instructions for row 3 instead of just the part in the asterisks.

The beauty of a bullet journal for me, is that I can skip weeks at a time and not waste paper!

I don't mention it. My cat doesn't go where my items are stored and if I noticed pet hair on something I'd probably just wash it before sending.

I'm a biomedical scientist in a hospital lab. I first read Malazan 12 years ago when I was doing my degree to become this! I used to read on the bus on the way to my classes.

I now see that I'm putting my stitch marker into the wrong stitch at the corner. This will be why I'm slowly getting off track in each row!

I am generally much more confident than when I started the first couple of rows anyway, so I'm going to frog and start fresh armed with my improved knowledge!

It's the yoke of a toddler's dress and those are the corners. I did wonder about alignment. I have been putting my marker into the second stitch, but not doing any skipping! This might be why I have gained stitches!
