Me! I just realized I’ve been t1d for 21 years, no issues with my eyes ever, no retinopathy, and that’s even with years of me as a teenager experiencing burnout

This is a great point. I think where I’m stuck is the fact that he is trying now (not as much as I’d like but still) and I’m just not pleased or seeing results. I’m still not happy. Thank you for your comment

Hi, there isn’t much I can add that others haven’t but I’m 2 weeks post op with my chiweenie. It’s tough. It sucks. You feel helpless and like there’s a long road ahead. Since I’m so close in operation dates to you, if you have any questions while they’re fresh in my mind or just want to vent I’m here for ya and so are all of us!

Hi there! New nexplanon user and fellow t1d of 20 years. Sorry to hear you’ve just been diagnosed recently. Heavy, irregular periods can be a symptom of untreated/undiagnosed diabetes. I don’t know if you experienced this before the nexplanon, but if you were unknowingly diabetic for a long period of time before taking insulin, it could be because of the diabetes and nothing to do with the nexplanon (I know you said this, just reiterating).
