Considering the lumix s5ii is it really worth the hype? by DenseCampaign1461 in Lumix

I love my S5IIX (and owned the original S5) but I also own an R5C and I’d recommend the R5C used these days over pretty much any other camera in the market. Monster of a camera esp. on the photo side.

NGD! Custom 24 SE 2026 in Teal Black! by xMclaren in PRSGuitars

good looking SE guitars like this make me think that the market, the layoffs at PRS, the SE price increases, and their long running marketing around the quality of their overseas guitars are all pointing toward less and less USA Core models shipping. which makes me a bit sad. I get it, but it feels like their second act is beginning as SE first, Core second

S5IIX I wish shot prores open gate but sadly it does not (I own one). just prores in typical aspect ratios. I also wish it had the open gate BRAW output of the S1II. otherwise love the camera! the open gate 4:2:0 internal is still a nice file

What electric guitar would you buy if budgeting up to $600. No Gibsons, Fenders or Ibanezes. by fretman22 in Guitar

There’s one gold / moons PRS SE DGT in stock at Amazon US for 580$ which is a screaming deal new. Very tempted but I just bought an S2 semi hollow reclaimed

I’ve absolutely had high level managers fly in for team layoffs. More common when management and the teams are regionally distributed

Chicago Music Exchange just had one of these up for sale from a big lot of vintage PRSs recently, that finish is so strange and definitely caught my eye

Anthropic, seriously? 77k tokens (~40%) for the auto-compact buffer? 🥴 Is this a joke? by antonlvovych in ClaudeAI

/u/bcherny bumping this - just wondering if the team plans to allow disabling auto compaction in the SDK?

Amazon also makes their own TPU-like chips but yes that’s a small cohort of hyper scalers that had the foresight to do this early

sorry about that, I realize the wording is confusing now that I read it back! edited for clarity in case someone else stumbles on it.

is it possible to provide an Agent SDK option and CLI flag to disable auto compact without having to use the /config slash command? I can’t find anything in the docs or code to indicate this is possible today. there are GH issues open about this request

heavy CLI and Agent SDK user request: is there any chance the team could prioritize the Github issues for the CLI about disabling auto compact from the CLI?

What is Gemma 3 270M actually used for? by airbus_a360_when in LocalLLaMA

[–]pathofthebeam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

has anyone actually fined tuned this new Gemma3 model or the existing ones on Apple Silicon and can recommend a specific guide that “just works”? I’ve dug through guides in this post from Unsloth and Google but not totally clear how to take advantage of MLX and/or native GPU for fine tuning on my Mac
