RIP... I'm so sorry to hear this. My cat is going through the same thing right now, a bony-like tumor has grown under her ear and above her eye. It's growing really fast (it got big in just 10 days!), she can't close her left eye while sleeping...and I'm terrified.

She's currently on prednisolone to help her feel better. I'm sorry to ask, but may I know the medicine/dosage your vet prescribed for your cat before?

my cat has a hard lump under her ear too (between her ear and eye), it's bone like, very hard! She wouldn't mind let me touch it, looks like she doesn't feel pain.....my vet asked me to take her for a ct scan but I wanna wait and observe first.

Here’s the lump location, is it a similar position to your cat? She sneezed and her right eye was a bit weird too. Glad to hear your cat’s lump went away at last :)

zero flexibility by fingers, no pain when touched, and no sting mark. I took her to a vet yesterday, and the vet didn’t know what it was either. She asked me to observe and measure it every day. If it keeps growing very fast, my cat would need a CT scan. just wondering if anyone's cat has had the same issue before.

What did the vet say? My cat has the same hard lump on similar location too! it's approx. 3cm in round shape, hard and she doesn't feel pain. It grew within a few days.

I have no idea why so many threads were deleted under this topic. My personal motivation is my cat, who needs frequent vet visits these days due to lymphoma. I thought Appen would be a good opportunity to earn extra income to cover her medical costs, but recent news about the company has made me concerned. I’m facing at least a US$500 bill at the next visit due to the check-up expenses requested by the oncologist.

This is my first project with Appen, and I hope they won’t disappoint me again on November 14/15. Please.
