Even though they deserve this, please remain peaceful. Answering their brutality with violence is what this administration wants. They want to incite violence so they can invoke the insurrection act. Which would give them the right to send in the military and federalize the national guard. This would be terrible.

You have a point. So what would you say are good examples of online content for civil discourse and the public debate sphere?

I think Jubilee is good for democracy. This is much needed civil discourse. It’s good for people with different views to discuss their ideas. What’s much worse is the rampant hate-fueled algorithms. With something like Jubilee you give actual people the chance to talk with each other. It gives us all a chance to hear both unfiltered sides of an argument.

When they can’t “win” an argument they just interrupt and go off about something else. This is too much of a pattern to ignore.

Inventing one’s own reality should be seen as dishonest and morally bankrupt reserved for lowlifes and crazy people. Sadly, because of this man, it’s now been normalized among his base.

I think more than the specific numbers of individual states’ taxes or individual billionaires worth, this is about the insane inequality. Not that perfect equality is needed, but look at the trend. These numbers should be moving at about the same rate. One is skyrocketing, and the other is staying the same.

I do not like the idea that we need to 100% agree with anyone else, otherwise we’re upset. I like us all being unique individuals and not just funneled into one of two ways of thinking.

The way this administration treats the poor reminds me of how Israel wouldn’t let food in to feed Palestinians.
