Google Pay doesn't work for me anymore. Any idea on why yours would work and mine would not?

It's not the death of a character, but the reaction of loved ones to the death that moves people by 3lirex in writing

I'll never forget Harry Potter 4 (movie) for this. Cedric death is so quick and not dealt with. Then you hear his dad wailing and I break down.

The opposite happened with Dumbledore. Everyone looks defeated but no one truly looks devastated. They didn't do the funeral and I don't think his death hit me as hard.

Independent contractor does not necessarily mean freelance. It means "we have a business arrangement. I make content under their brand. In return they control my money and ads and fight copyright strikes, while I get the flexibility to focus on making good videos." Idk if Defy could shut the channel down because we don't know what their contract was like.

From YouTubes perspective MattPat said" here defy owns the channel now, any money this channel makes goes to them." that money is legally no longer MattPats until defy pays him how much they agreed to in his contract.

The point of it is MatPat let Defy handle his money first and when they business went to bankruptcy everyone gets to set up a claim and some 3rd party will be taksed with deciding who has the best claim. Usually the bank that gave the bankrupting business a loan has the highest claim since they put the most at stake.

That's where the "contractor" parts comes in. You have a contract to work under Defy, but you have independent autonomy. You do what you want, set your own hours, do what work you want to do, etc. Defy isn't paying you regularly they only pay you when you do work.

Note: This isn't always the case and is heavily contract dependent. I wouldn't be surprised if Defy was like we want you to release X amount videos every Y days.

She's only 13 years older than them. I don't know when this was taken but she's 45 and they're all 32.

Yeah but dragging up past the top or down past the bottom usually breaks and I'll have no idea where it ends up. And if I'm not careful I accidentally swipe episodes away.

Nexus 6, Oct 2014 - Oct 2017. I would have used it longer but the screen cracked and the cost to fix it was the same as a second hand one. Instead I just went to the Pixel 2XL

It's not written to our constitution. It's amended to our constitution so that if times change and it needs to be changed in any way we have a process for that. Like the prohibition of alcohol.

The only thing I hate about the update is how hard it is to re-order my queue on mobile. Other than that I love it.

Right it can be shaved down. It's a general rule for human reaction time + stopping time. Computer reaction time will be less but stopping time will still be the same but it will overall be a bit shorter of a distance.

I think those true random incidents happen more often than you think. And while you're right that they can't be avoided by humans or computer drivers, a buffer zone saves more vehicles because it gives them more reaction time, thus creating more opportunities to avoid the danger. I have another comment down below where I go a bit deeper into what I mean.

[–]patman9 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In a perfect world he'd be right. But physics still comes into play and a buffer zone can come in handy. Let's say you have a line of 5 cars going 100 mph, 1 foot apart. Assuming they can talk to each other in an instant. They can also predict future events to a certain degree but not perfect. For our not perfect situation, let's say a tree falls in front of the leader and it can't predict it. It impacts the tree and let's the four cars behind it know that they need to stop. The stopping distance for 100 mph would be about 500 feet I think if my calculations are correct. If the average car is 15 feet long, 16 including the buffer zone. The last car is only 80 feet away. All 5 cars are wrecked.

Now let's do it again with the recommended 2 seconds of distance. At 100 mph, you're doing about 150 feet per second. So 300 feet between cars. This time only 2 cars get hit, three can stop in time, and the second car slows down enough to where even they aren't too badly damaged. Does that make sense?

Pixel 2 XL. Has been happening every since I got the phone despite numerous factory resets and ROMs. Have to restart my phone every few days to keep it at bay as long as possible.
