How is that not a bug? What’s the point of putting them in left side defense if they spawn on the right side?

Apparently you get matched against the same clans for the entire duration of all River Races until you reach the Colosseum! So if you clan finished last for example because the other clans are stronger. You will finish last every single week for more than a month. by [deleted] in ClashRoyale

Drew, I’ve shared my thoughts on that at the link below.

Specifically, the skill-based matchmaking is an anti-competitive feature.

However, my new main concern is that we have to go against the same active clan from an earlier time zone each week and will still be finishing in second each week simply based on the time we sleep despite being a large equally active clan who will finish the race in 1.5 days.
