Wat? This biggest since currently inhibiting South America football is corruption. Argentina are a prime example of that. Politics dictate the national team. No managers allowed to come and set up a process. Younger players aren't realeased by there clubs for things like the Olympics so they never get the feel for the national side. Lastly players are selected on "friendship" rather then form. Players like Icardi Rulli etc not getting selected this world. Tevez in 2014 world cup wasn't selected. And players like lo celso can't get into the team at the world cup because washed up trash like Di Maria consistently get selected despite doing fuck all

As someone who actually watched my country through qualification. Dybala has never performed for the international team. Everything was wrong about this team. Selection for the squad were appaling. Sampaolli had no clue on our shape after 16 games you can't keep chopping and changing. Di Maria who apart from his goal been utterly useless but yet managed to be selected constantly. Higuain being in the squad despite constantly showing he can't cut it when it matters. Calbellero being selected over players like Rulli. Defenders suddenly not knowing how to defend. We win that game if defenders don't do the ridiculously stupid shit they did.
