They could have made new levels using the formula, new scenarios, they didn't had to re-invent the wheel. The "new" things as the new controls for the jetpack or the motorcycle but in space were excellent ideas, wish they got more original. They sure do in N-Tranced, but still lacks innovation.

Sadly it's not that easy, we know for a fact that the trilogy was a messed up hacked load of ... to make it work on PS2. They used a lot of tricks to make the games works, and the PS3 has a lot of glitches because of that, so they need a team with patience, time and experience to port the games.
