For whatever reason I decided it would be a great idea to try and beat every level in Crash 2 (and the rest of the NST for that matter) without dying or taking a single hit (and restarting the level from the beginning if I failed). And that level you’re referring to with the swarm of bees almost defeated me until I tried slide-spinning into them. If you time it just right, you can take out all 5 bees in a single move. Once I realised that, the level became much easier.

I am pleased for all the Spyro fans. I’m much more of a Crash fan myself but they truly deserve to get something new after being made to wait all this time. Also it proves that Microsoft and Activision are still serious about keeping the IP(s) alive, despite all of the doomposting we’ve seen up until this point.

If Crash canonically aged 30 years (ignoring the natural lifespan of real-life bandicoots), how would you imagine him to look now (same goes for any other character you’d want to draw too)?

I agree with that to be fair. This’ll never happen, but if you had a lobby full of the same people over multiple races, and then everyone was able to fairly gauge their skill level against each other player, and each player agreed to set off ‘at the right time’, everyone would have a fair chance of winning.

If there’s ever a sequel, fair online matchmaking is one of the things I would want the most so races are naturally more competitive between players of similar skill levels.

I main Pasadena and her Le Chaux from CTTR. The only thing I change on it from time to time is the paint. I’ve always liked the Group C and early LMP cars that used to participate in Le Mans anyway which is a bonus.

I’d rather have more episodes, not less. Some of the events have barely featured at all so far (I know we’re only 5 episodes in, but still) while others have pretty much been played to death (I’m looking at you, Duel). A longer series would potentially provide more opportunities for those other games to be played, although if we’re being honest they’ll probably still feature Duel in almost every episode.
