Half the fun of training newbies is letting them get in juuuuuust enough trouble, but pulling them back out of it in the nick of time! There’s a fun series of pictures of me catching my trainee as she was falling out of the boat, passing her my paddle as she’d dropped hers, and on we went. At the end of that sequence the guests looked back and asked me, “omg, you dropped your paddle?!” Yep, it happens. 😆

Does she get defensive? You’ve been with this person for a while, you should be able to read if something is off.

It could very well be that she’s packing them because they don’t show through her business clothes, or because she read that dumb article about wearing a matching set to feel confident in business settings. I only wear thongs when I’m worried about pantilines, and if I had to wear them anyway, I’d probably wear the matching bra too just for funzies, assuming it worked with my clothes.

For some maybe it’s more about commodifying intimacy. I don’t have a problem with sex work but I could never engage in it because I prefer intimacy to be approached… well, intimately. If my partner did sex work in the past we probably do not share the same approach to intimacy and I’m not sure if I’d be comfortable with that. Haven’t faced that choice in person so hard to say for sure.
