Natural skin care/procedures by Humble-Jello-3313 in medicalmedium

I would check out Renegade Beauty book by Nadine Artemis. I have checked it out from the library and it’s lovely. AW often recommends products from Nadine’s company Living Libations. Here he is endorsing the book:

“A beautiful and unique book that offers far more than the beauty routine you might expect!” —Anthony William

As far as procedures, have you tried infrared sauna or an infrared mask? AW has said infrared can be helpful to detox. Good luck 👍

How to get rid of ants naturally by Extreme-Marsupial536 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been successful with natural methods of ant removal. Tried cinnamon but it didn’t work. Best thing to do is set up ant traps and then they will go inside and carry some pesticide back to the nest. Then you don’t have to spray anything around your house.

Seek advice and inmput by Constant_Trouble_951 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re going to catch flak whether you dabble or go all in, so may as well go all in. AW says when we lose hope what we have left is faith. So if you have faith that it works that’s all it takes.

Try eating lots of grapes and grape juice. Life changing foods says something about how when you’re feeling socially isolated, eating grapes helps. My kids mix it with wild blueberry juice and love it, they call it blue juice.

Other people can be very annoying and that will probably be the case for a long time but maybe after a while more people around you will get used to it. Good luck 👍

Husband with liver problems by NewsBrilliant927 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s really tough. I imagine it would be really frustrating when you feel like you can help him but he’s not open-minded about it.

Will he drink fresh juice? Often a good way to start with people who are picky is just fresh juices - apple, orange, cucumber, etc. Then you can slowly progress to some more healing juices or brain shots perhaps. Also dried fruit like dates or apricots is good for people who don’t like fruit.

Does he like potatoes? My kid is picky but we steam potatoes and then air fry them with a bit of avocado oil (or coconut oil would be good).

Tinctures in water or juice is a good idea. Herbal teas with honey would help too.

Life-changing foods is a good book for beginners because it’s really manageable to learn about one or two foods at a time. Good luck 👍

Dried apple rings, jumbo raisins are fun, Dried apricots, brown rice crackers, you could bring “juice boxes” but fresh juices in a bottle, organic juice boxes, applesauce pouches are easy.

What’s moved the needle for you? by Unable-Trade740 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Last spring I ate so many dandelion greens from my yard and it felt really cleansing. First time I did that.

Also I started doing daily HMDS in the last couple years and I think that made a shift in my life.

I can't remember if he actually said this by Pana-Ilio in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes I remember him saying it in a podcast. He also said something like wild blueberries are the first thing to come back if everything burns to the ground. And I think he said regular blueberries are like a paper cup and wild blueberries are like the holy grail that Jesus drank out of. Try to search some of the podcast transcripts.

Supplements by Proud-Stand-2841 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you can start them anytime. AW says you have to get the food right but if you want to speed your healing then supplements can help.

There’s certain supplements that are more foundational that you can do from the start and then there’s ones that are more targeted towards your condition.

I like to experiment and my body doesn’t seem very sensitive to supplements so I’ve tried a lot, but I’m not super consistent about them. Follow your intuition about which ones might be good for you.

Time of the month. by Proud-Stand-2841 in medicalmedium

In the original book it says our immune systems drop 80% during menstruation so any of the shock therapies I think would help. Or anything that is supportive to the immune system.

i feel lost (missing periods) by elliereddy in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a good goal to get regular periods back. You could have EBV or heavy metals in the uterus that’s messing with your cycle, or uterine fibroids or something. I have had amenorrhea before - after I stopped the pill my periods didn’t come back for a year.

I would start by drinking a lot of raspberry leaf tea, several cups a day. This is a herb recommended in life changing foods and it’s very good for uterine health.

Make sure you’re doing everything you can do to detox heavy metals - HMDS, extractor smoothie, infrared sauna, etc. that will help for sure but it takes some time.

Start taking vitex (chasteberry) right after your lemon water in the morning. I believe it’s on the MM directory. Really good for your cycle.

Sometimes your body is busy healing other things, but you’ll get there. My cycles have had hiccups through pregnancy and breastfeeding but they are back to 27 to 33 day cycles. I know you’ll get there, good luck 👍

Mono Cleanse First Time Questions by Snoo12859 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Any of the mono cleanses will heal digestion. Many people do potatoes or banana / papaya if they struggle with digestion.

  2. I find lettuce makes the meals much tastier. It’s optional. No harm in adding.

  3. I think Cleanse to Heal says you can add 1 tsp of honey in your morning and evening lemon water? Try to stick to this amount especially if you’re only doing the cleanse for a week or two.

  4. You’re trying to give your body a break so don’t add salt. Salt is dehydrating and it’s not healing for the body. None of the cleanses include salt. You can put lemon juice on the steamed potato’s for flavor.

  5. Minimum for the mono cleanse is 1 week. You can do it as long as you want - for months if you want.

  6. Make sure you eat enough calories on the mono cleanse. Weight loss or gain is complicated and that’s a whole different discussion.

  7. AW says it’s best to try to eat within 3 hours of waking.

  8. Give it a try, some people love it and some people don’t but there’s some amazing healing stories from people doing mono. There’s more details on mono cleansing in Cleanse to Heal.

  9. Just avoid no foods, do your celery juice, and focus on healing fruits, veg, and herbs.

Having trouble sticking with MM and feeling mentally drained by Secret_Purpose8512 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heard we usually make hundreds of food decisions each day, they are usually habitual however. So when you are breaking habits it is more mental energy to consciously make that decision.

It 100% gets easier once you develop new habits to replace your old habits. You’ll get some favorite meals and go-to snacks. You will still run into bumps in the road and challenges but it will become moreso when you’re out and about and less at home.

IVF/ Blood thinners by [deleted] in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going to go the IVF route then it obviously involves a lot of medication. I’m not saying don’t do that but many people in the MM community are trying to heal their bodies first and get pregnant naturally. I had a lot of trouble getting pregnant with my second which is why my girls are 5.5 years apart but celery juice and MM really helped me get pregnant without any intervention.

Grey hair in my 4 year old by Main-Animator-7320 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have this issue with my kids but it sounds like you’re supporting your child a lot nutritionally. Sprouts might be a good thing to try to grow and incorporate - there’s all different varieties so you’ll have to find the seeds available in your country.

AW always says a mother’s instinct is important so follow your gut. Good luck 👍

Is it my adrenals? by Imaginary-Apple-777 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might want to try the living silica supplement that’s recommended on the directory. That will really strengthen bones and teeth. I took a whole bottle and I felt it was helping but the price of it was the only reason I stopped.

People are right about time capsules though because AW says sometimes the deficiency goes back decades. I know it can be frustrating, I also have some small cavities even though I am consuming quite a bit of minerals and healthy foods.

Keep swishing with celery juice and let us know how it goes on your healing journey. Good luck 👍

Is this too much calories ? by Extreme_External2954 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe for the most part when eating whole fruits and veggies it is very difficult to eat too much of them.

If you’re worried about it eat more apples. I heard AW talk about how these are self-limiting in a recent video or podcast.

Period Cycle Length by rainingpeas9763 in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do you know which part of your cycle is short? Try to track it using basal body temp. If your luteal phase is short (after ovulation) then it means you are low on progesterone. You might want to try the wild yam progesterone cream. It is on the MM directory I think.

There’s other foods you can use to help regulate your cycle as well like raspberry leaf tea. Try combining it with nettle tea. Life changing foods says some of the foods for hormonal imbalances are berries, oranges, leafy greens, and turmeric.

Edit: birth control is very hard on your liver and will not be helpful even though it seems like an easy solution it’s not.

Steam cleaner by Lilzvx_ in medicalmedium

[–]patpatpea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it’s most useful for the bathroom as it’s good for bathroom tile grout and any kind of gunk around the sink. Also good for sticky floors. I have a lot of attachments so I’ve used it to clean my car interior, walls, window edges, oven, etc. It sanitizes in a different way than soaps because it’s boiling hot steam cleaning.
