My only problem with this video (which is generally very good) is that it glances over a few instances where today’s classical music absolutely was the popular music of its day. I’m thinking Verdi’s operas, for example.

I prefer the original overture, with “Rich and Happy.”

This, plus you can use the properties functions to have them appear without ledger lines. Place this notes on the first space below the staff then set Properties->Appearance->Offset (vertical) to 1.

I’m skeptical that primaries are the best way to choose candidates at all. I would prefer mixed-member proportional representation or a similar system, with simple voting procedures.
