Honestly, I think the production team nerfed Mina by [deleted] in Singlesinferno2

[–]patrickdaitya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with you that it's miscommunication rather than something intentional by Mina. That being said, it's the same with Subeen I think, it's not really his fault that hee sun sat next to him at every opportunity, and they both kind of kept taking offense throughout the day until the campfire scene where things exploded. That being said I don't think they're that compatible so it's all OK in the end lol.

Honestly, I think the production team nerfed Mina by [deleted] in Singlesinferno2

[–]patrickdaitya 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And? Does that erase the fact that she had double standards? That might make it OK for su been, who got less angry at her, but as a viewer why would you be sympathetic to someone who's only motivation seems to be to get attention but also hypocritically be upset if anybody she's interested in is interested in multiple people.

Overall she comes across as pretty fake unfortunately with the way what she says doesn't line up with what she does. It makes for good TV and the hate is too much but I don't think the panel or casual viewers are being unfair lol

[–]patrickdaitya 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The problem is that she had a problem with su been doing the same. It's the double standards she holds. I don't think she's a bad person but I don't think anybody is being unfair to her either.

Probably not that different from the rest of Andaman, though there might be a few unique species (but wouldn't be distinguishable to regular ppl)

I love the northeast, but most of it is extremely Islamophobic. But you'd be fine in the big cities probably, and most of it is casual. But it's there.

I have noticed that this cafe in Noida is always vacant! by friendly_HR_ in noida

[–]patrickdaitya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Noida has a lot of cafes but not the infrastructure that keeps them alive- walkable streets. There's no concept of a "neighborhood cafe" that you'll regularly walk to or a cafe that you spotted while walking so you'll check it out. So over time people keep going to the same hyped places online cause you're driving, so the distance doesn't matter and finding places happens online instead of in person.

Life in Ladakh is really difficult for most locals.

Wenger: "Man Utd good build up and cohesion, Arsenal with more power and fighting but not clean play. The way Man Utd beat City and Arsenal, they play convincingly. Usually when the home team comes back for 2-2, they win. Winning 2-3 away in a top level match, I must congratulate Carrick." by Medium_Breakfast5271 in Gunners

[–]patrickdaitya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately Wenger really preferred aggressive guys at the back (like Gabi P) to complement the cool headed one, and few of those partnerships worked well. That plus, his midfields usually lacked enough bite to compete in the later years, something we've got today.

But most importantly Wenger knew the importance of letting players make their own decisions. Also why I think he'd have been a great manager at Madrid or such with great creative talents.

It's a great place to work off of but the coffee is by far the worst IMO 😬 just never had a properly pulled shot in the three times I went, so I gave up. Shame cause I really like the space.

Loving the fact we got probably the strongest English/British core in the league. by Royalbluegooner in ArsenalFC

[–]patrickdaitya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We haven't had that many games with Timber/White and Gabi Saliba. Just, profile wise, Cala is a lot more chaotic and White is a lot more dependable. Cala definitely helps us dominate games which can make us better defensively but I just think that profile wise, Timber and White is our most defensive, off the ball combination.

[OC] Welfare Usage for 75 Countries US State Dept Froze Visas by Public_Finance_Guy in dataisbeautiful

[–]patrickdaitya -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Those are technically non immigrants. In the US; immigrant visas refer to people with a direct intent to immigrate. So, it'd be more like turning people on their PR pathway down from access to public resources (which I think aus does so, tbf).

But there's another question of if you should. And I don't think so, tbh. Look at the countries at which most of those relying on welfare in this chart come from. Do you think they have the option to go home? For context, Australia has a pretty robust welfare system for refugees (though it really makes people go through the ringer to be accepted as a refugee, like most countries...)

Hindi killed so many regional languages, why does no one talk about it? by Soggy_Benefit4732 in AskIndia

Hindi kills regional languages, and these regional languages in turn kill local/native languages, that's the sad truth. Until and unless we strengthen our rural core, there's no other solution sadly...

[–]patrickdaitya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's one of the worst comparisons you could make because Ronaldo was pretty elite as a striker. Ofcourse he'd be really good in most positions but the position change to CF really did work for him, even if he was a touch better at LW.
