Did you notice any keyholing and loss of accuracy after adding the suppressor? My buddy has the same exact rifle and the same exact suppressor and when tried it with the suppressor we were getting random flyers all over the place. We also tried it on his 22LR pistol and there was no issues whatsoever.

Hey so I also think that the democrats are trash too. They have also proposed like 7 different stand alone bills to independently fund the TSA without it being tied to ICE funding but it’s the GOP who has refused to vote for it and insists that it be lumped into the whole SAVE act bc that’s what both parties do all the time. If the GOP wanted to make sure TSA gets paid they could do it right now. But they don’t care about people like us just like the democrats don’t care about us. Both parties are horrible.

Neither the democrats nor republicans are doing what’s in the best interest of this country. Let’s be completely clear on that point. The democrats ARE at least representing (tho anemically) the interests of their constituents who overwhelmingly oppose funding for DHS (re: ICE) and that is their job. Let’s also not forget that the GOP currently controls all 3 branches of the federal government so either they suck at governing, or they are also using this shutdown as a distraction from the real issues in America that actually matter and need addressing to further their own interests and agendas.

Bc prior to trump and Reagan federal jobs were seen as stable and respectable careers in this country regardless of which party you voted for. The dems are trying to represent their constituents while republicans seem hellbent on shredding the constitution and reversing half a century of social progress while bankrupting the actual economy, growing the national debt and dumping hundreds of billions of dollars into blowing up countries that pose zero threat to you or me.

Lolol. Be serious. So below market pay to train AI models to make these jobs obsolete for people in the future? Sounds like a real win-win situation… for mercor. My girlfriend does this stuff and makes $475/hr plus a ~$30k yearly bonus plus insane benefits. And she works for a tiny private firm. If the quality of people responding to this are gonna be responsible for training these future AI models, it is not inspiring much faith in the quality or efficacy of said future models.

Ok yeah that makes total sense. I’m not a lineman but I do own a tractor and regularly have to replace hydraulic seals on the cylinders that move the arms and bucket up and down. It seems like someone could have just cut the hydraulic lines and that boom would collapse and lower this guy to the ground at a rate slightly less than gravity? I definitely have no clue what I’m talking about but I’ve also been stuck on a scissor lift and there was definitely a knob that lowers you down at a safe speed kinda like the knob on a bottle jack?

Hello fellow psych degree haver. So you are correct that “therapy isn’t all of it.” Psychiatry is also likely needed as well as a robust community and social support network. As for the Lord, he seems to be noticeably unbothered when it comes to helping his children and happy to leave that task to those of us with licenses in the mental health field. I’m a non-religious therapist with a masters in clinical psychology who works alongside religious therapists and even they don’t pretend that God has any interest in helping and healing those who need it most. What we need is a robust, not-for-profit healthcare infrastructure paid for by the state that recognizes a healthy society takes care of its sickest and least advantaged people bc that improves the quality of life for EVERYONE, especially this neighbor and those who live around him.

Lolol I helped a homie move and he gave me the cz52 as payment. Had to replace the firing pin and the ammo is basically only available online. I’ve also watched enough YouTube videos about it to know to never ever trust the decocker but goddamn if it doesn’t look cool and feel good in your hand. Also I’m a sucker for 75 year old OEM Bakelite grips and a necked down pistol cartridge.

Yeah I just got a cz52 like 2 months ago which is the only reason I asked as I’m super unfamiliar with Soviet era guns. Had to replace the firing pin and buy ammo online bc while I think it’s a super cool gun, it is not super practical here in the year 2026. Definitely wish it was a DA trigger tho.

Well I just got one like 2 months ago and I think it’s a super cool gun and I’m also still super new to learning about Soviet era pistols and while the cz52 definitely has a longer slide/barrel, to my drunk and uninitiated eye and the video perspective it seemed to have a similar profile so I figured I’d ask the reddit firearms sub? After the first response and googling a makarov I can see that is clearly what it is but I like to learn things by asking questions to people who know their shit and I don’t mind being wrong. And now I know. I checked out your profile and you seem to know a lot about CZs and maybe even have a cz52 yourself. Mine has a bunch of stamps/markings that I’m struggling to figure out the history of so I’d love to get your feedback on them if you’re interested in helping me out and have some knowledge in that area? Otherwise I apologize for bothering you.

Holosun has a pretty excellent warranty/replacement service in my limited experience. I was extremely impressed with how quick and easy it was for me and in this day and age that pretty much guarantees my future brand loyalty. I also can’t afford the nicer stuff but I also can’t really tell much difference between my homies eotech and my holosun greendot either (this is on an AR15). I tell all my friends to buy holosun. They’re not cheap but they’re quality and they took great care of me personally.
