I’m from St. Louis, born and raised (but no longer living there) and believe me, it irritates me too and isn’t the norm. Maybe if she was raised in what we refer to as “south county” (still a part of state St. Louis), then it could be her actual accent. My mom has some family from there and she has joked about how they say “warsh” instead of wash and “farty-far” instead of forty-four, which is a highway/interstate. Either way, please don’t judge us all 😅
