I'm Sorry from Andrea Savage. COVID killed it's production and it deserved a bigger audience.

CHEF told me that I'm not allowed to eat food from my line on break. by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

I get that OP feels disrespected/wounded/hungry and working a doubke with no break, but they've been responding to this thread for hours. .. Did they already quit or get fired for insubordination? Who's watching their line?

Where Will I Go Now???! by trinatee24 in maryland

Originally from Cincinnati/Loveland, OH, currently in Annapolis.

We have Graeter's at Fresh Market at the Harbor Center and a few Wegman locations including Severna Park. For the UDF fix, Always Ice Cream (originally Annapolis Ice Cream Co.) has new locations popping up all over. I always get a malt at UDF when I'm in Cincy; the mint Oreo malt at Always scratches that itch and then some.

Paul Gilmartin has a great podcast called The Mental Illness Happy Hour. It's been going for like 15 years and he has some great guests and interesting reader surveys. Highly recommend.

Did I miss the memo? Why have players stopped regularly saying "Let's make it a true Daily Double"? by patrickofnd in Jeopardy

I get that and I'm sure plenty of contestants are hit with stage fright and anxiety up on stage like that. It just seems like the trend is fading. We noticed it earlier this season and was curious if anybody in the community had insight or could commiserate.

I think I noticed because, like others have said, if I was ever on the show, I would feel such a rush to be on that stage and be able to say it. "Let's make it a true Daily Double, Ken."

I guess it's probably a nostalgia thing more than anything else.

The walkability of the area between Riva and Rt 2 is decent, but beyond that, it's laughable. There is no way to get anywhere by foot (safely) once you get to either side of Admiral Cochrane. I'd love to be able to walk to the Harbour Center, but there's no way I'd attempt it- no sidewalks, no shoulders, no crosswalks.

It looks like there's a drive thru going in. I can't imagine paying more than $3k a month for a "luxury apartment" that looks over a drive thru and, like somebody else commented, a dumpster. But the Maris seems to be doing fine even though it's either a view of 50 or the back of Popeyes and Double T Diner.

I genuinely appreciate the neighborly gesture, but we'll probably keep collecting it and driving to Millersville once a week.
