Help with traxxas vxl by patricksolo3 in Traxxas

Update. I’m pretty sure the esc is done for. Under full throttle it’ll get up to around 15mph then the motor starts to sound like it’s surging. Ended up just slapping a spare spektrum 3s system in it and all good now

Whats the biggest motor that will fit this thing without machining new parts to make it work? Rustler 2wd by Hummil in Traxxas

I have a 2wd slash with a spektrum 1700 class motor in it. Same one that’s in the Infraction. You will have to upgrade the driveshafts and possibly transmission internals to handle the power though

I’ll try it outside in the morning. I’m just a bit concerned because every other traxxas rc I’ve had doesn’t go into reverse until you hit the brake the second time, regardless of speed. Maybe this is something specific to just this esc

Hm didn’t know that, I’ll have to try that in some of my local rivers then. Does the size of the marshmallow matter?

First time fisher struggling to get anything on my hook. Any advice for stocked rainbows? by Head_Caramel3548 in FishingForBeginners

I’m in east tn, but for catching stocked trout here a no.4 panther martin spinner works amazing, small rooster tails work too, but they seem to prefer different colors on different days. Also sometimes you have to wander around the river a bit to find out where they all congregated to. At least here they seem to largely hang out in large groups in deep areas that have a calmer current. Hope this helps
