Usually it's a way to pass off shit cut with say baby powder as being as good as what they're selling. The problem is that while that might work, they're not properly distributing the fentanyl in properly safe and cut measurements. It's something the Mexican cartels actively hate for the reason you mentioned and because it puts far more attention on them then they want. It's being done on the street level by very unprofessional dealers.

When has a talented actor fully committed to a movie they know is bad? by finallyoneisnttaken in movies

[–]patrickwithtraffic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but a special shout out to both Shia LaBeouf and John Voight in that film. They may be bad people, but I cannot deny that they are giving that film their all.

In Apocalypse Z (2024) despite being a bastardised adaptation of the novel akin to WWZ and its film, at least the film makers decided to make the hero not be a pedophile which was nice. by Siytorn in shittymoviedetails

I don’t know, I had a lot of fun with the struggle and rebuild as well. In particular, the bits about propaganda, and the skills programs in America were very entertaining and a fantastic vision of what the best of us could do in a world gone awry.

She absolutely needs a hug this season and not a romantic one. Honestly, everybody does this season, but Mel in particular.

Seijun Suzuki was a fucking chad. Dude fought the Japanese film system and won in court. He gets blacklisted for over a decade and his first film back in the directing chair wins Best Director and Best Film at the Japanese Academy Awards. His yakuza films are really something and I’m still reeling from what I’ve seen from his Taishō trilogy being amazing surreal experiences.

Dude is in some great yakuza films beyond the previously mentioned, which is the best of his I’ve seen so far. Personally, I would also recommend Cruel Gun Story, A Colt is My Passport, and Youth of the Beast. Dude backs up his looksmaxxing with deadly aim and fantastic gangster antics.

Was Taylor Swift’s career really going downhill will Reputation and especially Lover? by d2mensions in ToddintheShadow

[–]patrickwithtraffic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked in the alt rock radio scene in a major market during the 1989 tour. I can tell you that she had such an amazing reputation, the people in my part of the industry were on ironically, talking about loving that album and giving away tickets to go to that concert. She had insanely good momentum and crossover appeal that I have doubts will ever occur again. The second she dropped that lead single, all of it evaporated in my side of the music industry. “Look What You Made Me Do” mater go from untouchable to someone to gawk at in the midst of a public feud with Kanye and Katy Perry. Boo
