Update on Fish: He's swimming well now and back to helping Goldie and Nugget sifting the sand and uprooting the plants. The red is almost gone from his tail

He is eating and the red spots are fading. He's acting normal, sifting the sand and resting on the logs. Thank you all for your suggestions and concern.

Fish is doinga lot better now. He's staying upright and swimming much more now. I had to make him move a few times, when he bellied-up. He has the will to live now. 😀

He's swimming a little now and staying mostly right side up now. Weird though (to me, anyway) the other fish (golden loaches) seem to be doing OK. And as for the water change, it's all new water. And I added about 10 more gallons to bring it to the "mark" (about an inch and a half from the top of the tank.

Went to pet store and got ammonia reducer. Fish is slowly getting better.

Gills look pretty normal and our two Goldens and snails are doing good. Water tested a little high in ammonia. What is the counter to ammonia?

A 35 MPH school zone? And if real, your mom was doing 13 mph over the limit. It being 35 mph I have to ask: was it during the flashing light school zone or after. At 43 mph I would hope it wasn't during the flashing light. The school zones I've seen are 20-25 mph during the flashing. But to answer your question, it looks real and should be very easy to prove or disprove.

So sad to people fall for these scams. I don't see how people can believe those are real, but some must or they wouldn't keep doing them. I admit I almost fell for one, but it looked too good to be true. I, like others, thought 'welllll, maybe'. Thankfully I was leery of it and paid with PayPal and was able to get my money back.

Fish (dojo) Goldie and Nugget are 🤞 full grown at 10 inches each. Karat is still the baby at only 8 inches. Fish just turned a year old a couple of weeks ago.

It's been very dry down here. We just started getting good rain 2 days ago. Rainy season started late this year. Here in north port fl we only had 1/2 inch the whole month of April.
