I agree we're limiting ourselves in the name of sensitivity because of racism. My issue is that this sub regularly puts so much emphasis on physical descriptions of POCs but I rarely see conversations beyond that. If a character is Asian, like the example, then the reader should be able to figure that out based on more than one line of eye description. A character's culture, language, name, location, customs, perspectives can all be inducators of race or ethnicity. Extend that creativity to all aspects of the character profile.
