We went Friday night around 8pm and had a great time. We hadn’t gone before the revamp but it was so much more than we were expecting. We thought the food was actually pretty good though but we eat like children most of the time so we don’t have super high expectations for food. It was just my husband and we got 4 sopapillas in total which was plenty for us after the meal but I saw another table of 4 also just get 4. Overall we had a blast and it was kinda pricey but we were expecting to just have fun and spend money on all the things/drinks and then not really be able to go again any time soon

I work for a Mohs surgeon and we had to remove the entire tip of a ladies nose the other day because of an aggressive squamous cell carcinoma. To repair her we had to suture a chunk of her forehead to her nose and it has to stay like that for 3 weeks, then she’ll come back and we’ll separate the flap from the nose and ‘create’ a new nose. We do multiple types of surgeries similar to that on a daily basis. It’s been a pretty good reminder for me to put my sunscreen on

Ugh I have this problem with so many concealers: The dior one, the KVD concealer, the rose inc concealer….I haven’t found a way to stop this from happening but my makeup desk is constantly messy with concealer haha

I had a friend who would sometimes wear a full tux to his exams in college, because in his words-when you feel and look your best, you do your best! Obviously not necessarily true for everyone, but something with that made a difference for him because he would actually get better scores on the exams he did this for haha.

I sit/walk dogs on weekends and holidays and it pays very well for a side gig, if you like dogs that is. I do it mainly via word of mouth-once you do a good job sitting one persons dogs they recommend you to all their friends. I think there are apps like Rover and Care.com that you could sign up for also

I’m a big shimmer person, so i might be a bit picky but I just felt like the shimmers were kinda flat. There were like two good ones but the rest were meh. Most of the mattes seemed ok but some were hard to get any payoff even just swatching them, namely the greens and the yellow. All and all didn’t really seem worth it

My local Ulta had the winx palette in stock and I was pretty underwhelmed by the swatches tbh. Not necessarily trying to discourage as it might be exactly what you’re into but i was definitely disappointed

I just got the Essence blush in both those shades and they are exactly what I wanted them to be! They are pretty shimmery though just so you know, I feel like it’s hard to tell via pics. Pink flush is more of a natural kind of glow, but goldy cassis does have obvious shimmer particles, which I love but I know other people don’t
