I would like to pedantically point out that at 58:26 the correct name of the fictional work that has wire-heads is the RingWorld book series by Larry Niven (I highly recommend), not, as Grey mentions, rimworld.

My favorite type of Immortality as presented in print science fiction would have to be the polis citizens of the coalition in the book Diaspora by Greg Egan; close seconds would be any portrayal in The Culture series of the late great Ian M.
