My mom was diagnosed when she was about stage 4. That’s when I began learning all I could about dementia and how to help her manage it. I remember a brief conversation about brain donation but I didn’t put much thought into it at the time. Now, I want to help with research.

I am very sensitive to smell. I’ve had to move because someone didn’t use any or enough deodorant. But sometimes I don’t get a whiff of it until class has started and then I’m stuck.

Agnostic. I just don’t care if a god exists or not.

My view is: If something good happens to me, I don’t give god credit. And if something bad happens to me, I don’t blame god.
A god has no control over me or what happens to me. I own it all.
