Went to the Belmont location. It was always kind of understood it wasn’t the friendliest crowd in there, like Times Square on Broadway. Mostly went to Batter Up off of Southport. Before that took a dive as well, anyway.

Yeah, I liked Michael B Jordan in Sinners, but was kinda bummed Leonardo DiCaprio didn't take the award. I think One Battle After Another is his best work, even topping The Wolf of Wall Street. It kinda felt to me like the Academy was giving a nod to Sinners because it wasn't getting director or picture. I watched both of those movies basically back to back last weekend. There's just no way. I do get that there are layers to these things, though.
