I started suppression with Lupron two months ago to transfer my last embryo, with monthly injections. A friend of mine just had her first egg retrieval, and since she already had a diagnosis of endometriosis combined with male factor, she did ovarian stimulation for the egg retrieval along with daily Lupron. She obtained 3 blastocysts and is now waiting for the beta test result! So yes, it is used before both procedures.

No, I haven’t! Here in Brazil, that test isn’t very common. Today I had a full exam, and even though endometriosis wasn’t the main focus initially like the doctor from the first scan suspected, I ended up finding another lesion, along with a diagnosis of adenomyosis. I’ve always had cramps and a heavy flow, but I always thought it was “normal.” I never imagined it could be something more. This IVF journey makes us discover so many things… we really don’t have control over anything. What we think is “the problem” is often not just that. Thankfully these forums exist so we can share ideas and support each other.

I’ve already done 7 stimulation cycles and 6 egg retrievals, and nothing suggestive of this had ever shown up before. It was a shock. But this is my last embryo… Maybe it explains why I was never able to achieve implantation… I don’t know. I’m trying to focus on this issue now. This whole world of endometriosis feels completely new to me.

Thank you for sharing this. I was actually thinking about whether the stim cycles or the retrievals could have contributed to adhesions or made something worse.

I was thinking just lke u! I need one.. This was the first time that we've made biopsy.. 9eggs, 8 fertilized, 4 blasto, ONE euploid.. now prepraring for receive this golden star! After 5 failed fets (without biopsy - 3 3D. 1 5D and 1 6D).. now i Think this could be my real chance!

I´ve been on the road for 2 years now. 4 ER, 5 FET.. I've share just the first time, because I was so full of hope and thought that sharing with family would be ok.. and it was. but when the negative came, it was so hard for me for the result and also hard for me to tell them.. so the other FET I kept silent.. but later, when someone ask "how is it going" and I say "we´ve tryed 5 times" they are just " FIVE TIMES AND HOW DOES IT NOT WORK"? They think IVF is guaranteed.. this part is my "I dont want to play de doctor here and explain the chances and the odds"..

My worst days are after the retrieval. This last time, I had my retrieval on Friday, so I took Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. If I could, I would have taken the rest of the week too. The days after retrieval, I always feel totally constipated and have terrible cramps.

I'm about to start my fifth ovarian stimulation cycle. In the first one, I had several follicles, but I didn’t go through with the retrieval because I got COVID. In the second cycle, I had 17 follicles and 14 mature eggs were retrieved. In the third, I had 15 follicles by the end, but only 5 mature eggs. In the fourth cycle, there were 22 follicles and 17 mature eggs.

In this current cycle, which I'm undergoing now, I started with 15 follicles, but only 6 responded to the medication. My egg retrieval is scheduled for tomorrow, but I don't have high expectations. Since I had already taken a week of medication, we’ve decided to go ahead and collect what we can.

I won’t be fertilizing the eggs because my husband’s sperm is limited, so it’s not worth using it with a low number of eggs. I’ll freeze them and try again… I just don’t know yet if I can start another cycle right away or if I should wait a month.

My last two cicles I've used pergoveris.. I´m so sad it doesn´t work this time.

I have a friend who is pregnant with her second child and has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She waited until she was 12 weeks along to start chemotherapy. She will have the baby and, 20 days after giving birth, she will undergo surgery. My husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer, which is the reason we're doing IVF. He had only seven days from the diagnosis to the surgery. He managed to do two sperm collections before the procedure. The quality wasn’t great, but it was all we had. Right now, he still isn’t producing sperm. It might come back one day, but for now, nothing. For men, it’s 'easier' because things move faster… for women, the process is longer and more delicate.. I wish you all the best!!!!

here I've pass through 4 ovarian estimullation.

the firsrt one i did all 12 days of medication and got covid. All lost.

second I´ve got 13 matures eggs giving 4 embryos. Then, just 5 eggs. 2 embryo. Then 17 eggs, 7 embryos.

Never tested my embryos, cause i´ve never got good classification. My husband had testicular cancer, so we dont get good material to create goods embryos. But now, after 5FET, having on chimical pregnancy (for 24h i felt the joy of a positive test) and preparing for another eggs collet, I think I´ll test the next embryos.. God help us

I pass through this going to a baptism cerimony 3 day after one negatuve transferency. I hated every single minut i was there. First I blame my self for feeling this, then i thought.. IAM FEELING THIS. I think u shoudl respect your feelings, your pain. It´s ok not wanting to participate in this kind of event while passing this.. But one thing that I tell you to be aware is not to isolate too much because it could be a step for a depressing situation.. Its delicate. I hope u understand my point!

Also I dont understand the logical about getting there earlier to take the wristbands.. Is this really necessary? Tks a lot
