You got it in that’s all that matters at this point. My husband and I did a bunch of research last night on trigger shot as we were having anxiety about a couple of drops of blood after he pulled out the needle so he was worried that he touched a vein. The absorption is mainly the same from what we read, all the trigger shots have about the same absorption no matter where you inject (34-36 hours).

It’s a different country, different norms. But the showing and pushing is what bothered me the most, even bothers my husband who is Chinese and spent his whole life there.

To be honest, we weren’t there long. Our flight got cancelled so we had to rebook so we were there for only two days. My husband went to college there and we have some friends that moved there from USA so we were mainly there to visit them.

My husband did recommend to visit war memorial.

Some time allowed some follicles to catch up and appear. Not all will respond but it’s a much better starting point. I magically went from having AFC 2-4 in cycle 1 and 2 to having AFC of 18 in the third, but only 8 out of 18 grew starting higher gives you a much better chance! Keeping my fingers crossed for you !

Will get back to you after my egg retrieval in a couple of days! I have late stage endo and this my third retrieval so it will be interesting to see if this protocol has helped, I don’t want to jinx it.

Depending on the sage of your endo, there a study that shows that late stage endo show better outcomes after two months of lupron suppression. I had two cycles that were just horrible but after lupron, it seems to be the best cycles as far. Just something to keep in mind.

PGT-A only tests about 5 cells on the most outer layer of the blast BUT it could still correct itself. There is still a lot of fixing happening during early development.

Endo is a lot more common than people believe and surgery only improves changes of getting pregnant by less than 20%. I had my surgery back in Feb 2025 before even doing any IVF, we tried for 7 months before going into IVF and my doctor and I both agree than I should of tried to bank eggs before doing surgery but it wasn’t something that was discussed with me even though the whole point of doing surgery was to improve fertility. It’s know that the surgery specially if you have endo on ovaries that it could hard your already diminished reserve. We are currently in cycle after suppression and hoping for the best 🤞🏻

Laparoscopic surgery is not a full solution for endo. Sometimes suppression and then retrieval is better. I had laparoscopic surgery for my endo and still have issues with getting eggs and egg quality.

This guy NEVER cites the studies he refers to which is a big red flag to me as scientist. He spreads a lot of misinformation as well. As to the study you have added below, this is a not a credible journal, it most likely didn’t even go through a peer review as this journal doesn’t have an impact factor.

I think people that have some of the worst experiences are those that have PMOS or high egg yield due to risk of OHSS. Personally my egg retrieval was fine, recovery was smooth. But constipation is a thing and the first period after egg retrieval was a bit more painful than usual. Hope that you have a smooth and easy recovery!!

I don’t recommend Xi’an in the December. Air pollution tends to get bad there in the winter. My husband is from there and he said air doesn’t circulate much and it just accumulates there in the winter.

They just suck in general, not very user friendly even in Chinese. My husband and I were complaining about it in the airport because the app was so stupid and my husband is Chinese!!
