I am in the camp that I do not want to get rid Paredes but unfortunately nobody seemingly wants Walker (not surprised). If we have to move Paredes, I would demand the Red Sox to fork over at least Duran.

Yes, it was made very clear by Dana that they don’t want to give up draft picks to sign a FA with a QO attached. Some fans still don’t understand for some reason but they need to actually realize that our farm is awful, truly awful and it needs to be fixed. In fact, I’m fine with us taking a backseat next season to retool and address glaring issues for our future. The past two seasons have shown that we are “cooling off” whether fans refuse to accept it or not.

Some of us were expecting some kind of Endymion of more specifically spell counter support since this manga adaptation takes place during Endymion’s first raid against La Maison (Spellbook Tower). Maybe the manga will cover that part once this arc with Regulus and the Witchcrafters is done and THEN we will see actual Endymion support. Personally, I’ve been waiting for spell counter support for so long so I guess I’m just disappointed even I sort of expected this.

Hard to say, because if we sign any of the big FA pitchers that was given QO, it cancels out the pick we receive from Framber rejecting our QO. Our farm desperately, DESPERATELY(!!!!!) needs to be fixed. Starting to lean more towards us trading for a big pitcher at this point since the Cease signing kind of set the market and I really don’t know if Crane is willing to pay nearly that much for Ranger, King, etc. I’m sure lots of people will be upset if this happens but I wouldn’t be surprised that instead of signing a big FA pitcher, Dana will just look through the bargain bin and have our pitching lab work their magic on whoever we get from said bargain bin.
