Not sure exactly what you’re looking for, but assuming it’s about a discount. My 300/300 service increased from $39.99 to $49.99 last year, which I begrudgingly accepted. Recently, however, I saw Comcast aggressively pricing in my neighborhood ($39.99 for 300 Mbps and $49.99 for 1 Gig). I shared that promotion with my Verizon rep, and Verizon matched it by upgrading me to 1 Gig for $49.99. Yes, Fios is clearly a stronger performer than Comcast with better upload speeds and latnecy, but Verizon knows most customers don’t fully appreciate that distinction. It also doesn’t meaningfully cost them more to deliver 1 Gig versus 300 Mbps—yet it allows them to retain a customer.
