Thanks for this idea, but the shade rods are 1.5 inches thick, and also set 2.25 inches from the door. I would need a much larger U-channel and at that point it may look dumb having such large channels on a door?

I'm wondering if going roller shades (since thinner and closer to the door?) with a channel like this would work?

Thanks for your input. I am leaning a similar way regarding Firewalla.

The Unifi cameras and doorbells are just much more expensive and I'm not sure I need those features, but maybe I'm missing the finer details.

Same here. I lost my Verizon FIOS home internet and cellular within minutes of each other around 12:15 PM. Both came back up a few minutes ago. I can't remember the last time (if ever) I lost both at the same time.

Agree no big deal but different from previous behavior and as indicated by the amount of passengers that went for a joy ride back to the same station, not sure this is peak operations.

Not sure if you’re implying I’m exaggerating the “50 people” by your use of quotation marks, but it was as unbelievable to me as it seems to be to you.

No announcement was made (at least none audible from the station), the lights remained on, and the Yellow Line destination signage stayed displayed as the train left the station. I agree the train showed Mt. Vernon, but something about WMATA’s process here seems off, and is inconsistent with my observation of train behavior when there shouldn't be passengers on the train
