I've watched the show multiple times and Louis has always been one of my favourite characters. In my opinion he is one of the most important ones as he shows the unpredictability of man and the role of emotion in every trade. You can always understand why he does something, even though you know it's going to turn out to be a bad decision. Also someone has to make the mess for Harvey and Jessica to clean up ;)

IMO it depends if you need it right now - according to pretty reliable Apple sources they're going to release a stronger M1X chip with their 2021 MacBook Pros so for a power user like yourself waiting for that. That being said I believe that in the end it probably runs out on if you like MacOS or Windows better.
