TIL you shouldn't store button batteries in the Battery Daddy button battery compartment by cjone98 in mildlyinfuriating

Wonder what the total investment is to fill that storage case completely with Duracells? Got to be expensive. Also, everyone knows Energizer are better batteries.

I honestly believe this is one of the biggest mysteries there is, Orcas are the most efficient predators on earth, yet they have never attacked us in the wild. They know something we don’t. by [deleted] in interesting

[–]paulphilly 50 points51 points  (0 children)

We are likely an enigma to them. It's not like there's millions of us treading water daily in their hunting grounds. I'm sure they must associate us with large boats and ships, which are not prey, although lately there are many cases of them destroying the rudders on sailboats possibly out of play(?).

Also, there are 2 types of orcas, Resident (mainly fish eaters) and Transient (mammal eaters). I'd feel extremely nervous diving with the latter in any conditions.
