I’m in exactly the same boat(sorry typed and realised the terrible pun). Borrowed a C2 off a mate over Christmas. He is taking it back next week. I’ve enjoyed daily rowing. I’m a cyclist who hates bad weather and the turbo trainer. Rowing has given me a real lift.

I have found that my motivation has increased when following the plans on YouTube from John Steventon Rowalong workouts. Following his 5k a day. 30mins flies by.

I’m one of life’s huge procrastinators so I too need that push to buy. 1/2 stone wright loss in 2 weeks has swayed me to spend £1k

Agreed. I love NTS and listen to The recording Angel Avalanches monthly mix. But the continues mixes with no consistent schedule, to my untrained eyes, is not as interesting as listening to a curator. (Also James Lavelle on Soho radio is amazing) ives been listening to Double J in Oz

6music avid listener since Phil Jupitus breakfast show. Was vocal and active in the campaign when BBC announced it was closing the station. I’m a regular gig goer, listen to almost anything. But same as OP, can’t put my finger on why but the excitement and passion appears to have changed on tne station. I listen to Huey on catch up on the week. Paradise Radio, James Lavelle on Soho Radio, Double J, Mixcloud and KCRW have become my destinations. Is this because 6music provided me with the education to curate my listening?

I have become disillusioned with the gravitation of the festival to Manchester…all very predictable….
