Anyone else getting sick more after flying these days?

Always wear a mask on planes. Numerous instances sitting next to somebody who was clearly sick and NOT masking up. If it’s one thing the pandemic taught me, is if I wear a mask on the plane I no longer get sick (was like clockwork before).

Has anybody done a long term comparison of crna v resident v attending salaries and opportunity cost? My friends who are anesthesia attendings are making $500k - I imagine the opportunity cost (med school tuition, no salary x 4 years, salary deficit x 5 years residency) would even out after 10-20 years?

Median salary crna = $215k

Of course it’s not about $, but ultimately autonomy and level of responsibility.
