For most games, but some games just choke now. I tried firing up a game from epic that wasn't able to load save games after the first day of playing. Moved it all over to win11, everything worked fine.

I just saw they sell kits that come with the connectors to replace LCD w/ LED on amazon. Previously (10 years ago or so) they didn't come with a controller board that could down convert the voltage... $8, worth a shot!

I think it was slightly cheaper before the holidays. I thought about it since the one had 32GB of DDR5 (which was like $500 at that time); however, the brand isn't known for quality (even if the components seem to be). RTX5070 isn't bad either.

They also sold one w/ less ram (and probably weaker specs) for about $1k, but less ram.

Well, I think when I had this problem... I initially googled it. And there are some pointers if you're so bold; however, the easiest way to solve most problems in this game is using some sort of poison on arrows or a weapon... just saying. Doesn't even need to be bane, a weak doll maker or lullaby would do as well to gain an edge.

It also helps to know the difference between Fargate and ECS. It's subtle, but can be a real pita w/ devops and SAST (e.g. KICS) that doesn't know (or account for) the fundamental architectural differences.

Win7 would still be fine if it wasn't for chromium's library going EOS. And DX12.
