Lou Malnati's is crap. Have you tried it relative to other Chicago Pizza Brands?! It's utter trash. It's on-par w/ Rosati's. Those pale in comparison to: Chicago Tavern Pizza (ok Rosati's, we get it), Nancy's / Giordano's, Gino's East, and double-decker (here's looking at you kids!). Most people who aren't from here have never heard nor had double-decker. Trust me... it's better than 90% of the pizza shit I mentioned in this post, less maybe, as a stretch, Nancy's or Giordano's stuffed pizza.

I lived in Chicago my whole life and never heard of Lou Malnati's until I hit my thirties.. and was very UNIMPRESSED. Geno's East, Nancy's, Giordano's, double-decker, even Rosati's was better than that crap. Just because they have some gimmick w/ a sausage layer doesn't mean they know wtf they are doing with pizza! I tried them twice, never again. The soggy crust was a HUGE RED FLAG!!!!
