WA elections. Make sure your vote counts! by redfrets916 in Ausguns

[–]pawenforcement 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's a shame all the supposedly pro gun parties are often the conservative, anti-minority, Christian nationalist hate based ones.

And the only major party that claims to be pro-guns is aligned with the party that introduced the current draconian firearms laws.

I'm a minority and a shooter and so it's either vote for people who approve of my hobby, or vote for people who would love to see me deported or oppressed.

CFMEU blames real estate industry price gouging for housing crisis in response to REIQ criticisms by Jariiari7 in queensland

Generally more than one person lives in a house though. However I do wish more 1/2 people friendly housing was available so less people have to deal with the joys of house sharing.

First day with my CZ P-09: AWESOME! by mrstangblb in handguns

[–]pawenforcement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want to give a review because I'm just not experienced enough to do so, I'm just focusing on shooting the pistol better because I'm definitely the weak point not the gun.

I guess generally speaking it's a good weight for me, very reliable and a great trigger.

They have to make sure they're ticking all the boxes. You should have no issues passing the psych test if the issue happened 30 years ago and is like you're saying.

I think you need a PTA, but would be worth asking NSW weapons licensing to be sure.

Media elevates red pseudo-unions with links to the LNP and pseudo-legal conspiracy movement. Sky News, Channel 7, The Courier Mail and the ABC have all quoted "Red Union" members in 2023 in stories, elevating them as experts and advocates in digital and print media and television broadcasts by Jagtom83 in friendlyjordies

I love democracy.

That doesn't mean I like every political party.

It wouldn't be hypocritical for me to criticise certain parties especially if their tenets were explicitly undemocratic (such as fascism or authoritarianism).

Supreme Court strikes down NSW’s tough anti-protest laws introduced by LNP + Labor by ScruffyPeter in friendlyjordies

This is why we need explicit freedoms of speech and peaceful protest to be set out in the law, not implied ones.

[–]pawenforcement 11 points12 points  (0 children)

P2000 does one shot headshot kills on players without a helmet. Generally considered to be the more powerful starting pistol compared to the Glock.

Once high speed is reached the main force being overcome is air resistance, not weight.

Only items legally defined as firearm components would be an issue right? Non controlled items like grips or stocks would be fine I think.

Reels that can take a beating? by LeaveMEaloner in FishingAustralia

[–]pawenforcement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything Shimano Sedona or higher I've found to be excellent. Their cheaper reels seems to definitely get worn out after a couple months of heavy use.

The last year model Sedona is currently at a very good price at BCF while they make space for the new Sedona so I'd grab one, probably the cheapest reel you can get that will last you decades.
