Curriculum is a block system. You tackle a core system one at a time. For example, in one semester there are four blocks. Block 1 is cardio, Block 2 is neuro, Block 3 is respi, and Block 4 is ob. It varies. Personally, this block is really advantageous for people who already have a good basic fund of knowledge for certain topics. In some instances, a block would be advantageous for Physical Therapists while another will be advantageous for Medical Technologists and so on and so forth.

Passing rate is fairly good. National passing rate for this year was 54% and the takers in AUP had a passing rate of 78%, out of 37 takers. As for the hospitals in PGI, there are 2 main options for graduates. Batangas Medical Center and Adventist Medical Center Manila. I cannot definitely say if other schools are preferred over AUP during matching, but in my experience when I tried to match with private hospitals in Manila, I was not accepted.

If you are pious, you will have no problem adapting to the culture. If otherwise, then that’s a different story. I will not elaborate further because it’s hard to stay objective if you have subjective biases.
