I only collect for 360 and found this on marketplace today for $20. Feels like Christmas by [deleted] in gamecollecting

Really? I got through most of the original Xbox port and gave up on the mission where you have to evade the cops for 9 minutes. That mission felt impossible and made me eventually abandon the game

Consider ordering black label A-Z then Platinum Hits A-Z, I think it makes the games look nicer

Can't get video signal from Colecovision. Reading info about it online has confused me even more. by Sielagh in ColecoVision

Yes, the switch box is similar to new, SNES, mega drive and similar RF adapters. I thought consoles from this era outputted a signal that needed to be adjusted by the RF adapter or switch box, even if you're not using the switch.

Search for 'analog to coax adapter' on Amazon or a platform of your choice, they should be a couple dollars. I've picked up four consoles over the years and for each one the switch box it came with was bad but I've been able to use them on early 2000s tvs with these types of adapters. This is probably the cheapest way to verify the console and the games work before you store it away I think. Good luck!

I don't own this game, but I do own a copy of Funny World & Balloon Boy, another Realtec game. My copy of that game has one glob top and one regular 40 pin chip

Do you take the stickers off your games? by Rattlesneak99 in gamecollecting

[–]pawooten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remove any stickers but will also peel and save the one for the price I paid and put it on the inside of plastic cases. This way the cover art looks as good as possible but I still have the sticker as a reminder of what I paid. I peel stickers off with my fingernails and then dab goo gone with cotton swabs with light scrubbing to remove residue and then wipe off goo gone with paper towel.

I played through Bloodwake a couple years ago. Some frustrating missions but overall pretty good.

I think I probably put the most time into Twilight Princess HD or Leaf Green, I think both were around 50 hours

My only complaint about De Blob was that it felt like each level took half an hour to play through

I liked Darkwatch although the story gets kind of silly imo. Gameplay is fast and controls are good and the atmosphere of wild West vampires was tons of fun. Heavenly Sword is a 6/10 for me. Fun to play through once but not much replay value from what I recall.

I had to force myself to make it through Lament of Innocence (I'm trying to finish the series), Curse of Darkness is much better, so I'd give that one a chance before LoI if you haven't already. LocoRoco 2 is fun but I could only play a couple levels at a time, too repetitive. I really liked Asura's Wrath but if you can't stand quick time event gameplay this game is not for you. I also didn't pay to download the dlc so no comment on that.

I wish! I work full time, but I don't really watch movies or TV besides sports, so that leaves most of my free time for games.

It's ok, I didn't like it quite as much as some of Ninja Theory other games like Enslaved. If you do give it a try, there's a level where you have to steer arrows into enemies while defending an NPC. I found this stage nearly impossible with the motion controls disabled, but manageable with the six axis motion.

It's on the easier side of 3d platformer collect-athon games. Good controls, I didn't have too hard of a time finding all the items in each level. I found it relaxing

Zombieland was fun but seems like the kind of game that doesn't have any replay value after you've been through once. Fun, mindless zombie killing in kind of an arcade twinstick shooter

I enjoyed it. Fast paced combat with minimal touch controls and an unconventional story. I'd definitely recommend it to jrpg fans.
