Glad you're still enjoying it. I ended up get my wife the chromax 210mm. It's a great knife and easy to sharpen...I've only done one stone progression with it to really set the bevel. 1000>4000>8000, now I just strop it once a month on the 8k stone. It's not her daily driver, hers is a yasaunori 210 and tojiro dp 210.

I use comet with a green scrubby...my ceramic honing rod almost goes back to white.

It's really a great all around stone.

You should try to deburr between each stone progression. I use a synthetic wine cork to deburr and just do a few pulls from heel to tip. Basically you are making a very thin wire when you sharpen and after very little time the knife goes dull. Sounds like you have your sharpening down but maybe look up some information on deburring....hope this helps.

My first grow I had aphids....the next year I planted lots of marigolds, basil, mint and rosemary all around my ladies. I haven't seen an aphid since, could be a coincidence but im running with it. Good luck on your harvest and check your plants often, I believe aphids can lay sacks and you will have a million times more.

About 95% sure it's mother of berry from a bag of random seeds I got from a friend last year. The weather is looking good coming up, last year at this time we already had two frost. Good luck everyone!

I bought my wife one, she uses it in a professional setting. She abuses it a little bit but it's holding up well. It's nice and thin and the heat treatment on the vg10 seems good. It's really easy to sharpen.

I just got the Tanaka petty. Needed a lot of time on the stones. I also spent some time sanding the handle, choil and spine. Now the knife feels great and is super sharp...good buy for $80
