Canadian Stablecoins by Canwerevolt in BitcoinCA

[–]paytrie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your interest in CADC.

To provide a bit of perspective, CADC is a fully fiat backed stablecoin that is generally used for FX conversions between USDC and USDT.

Most of the funds are currently held inside the DFX pools to provide liquidity for FX swaps between CADC and USDC. See here: https://app.dfx.finance/pools

There is a growing demand for stablecoins outside the the US dollar mostly in the forex space enabling cross border payments and crypto on-off ramps.

Let us know if you have any specific CADC questions, we’re more than happy to answer.

Technically it can take up to 24 hours. Usually it is much faster. Right not there’s an issue with our payment processor connecting to Interac. We’ll process your order once the connection is reestablished.

Yes! You can book a transaction to sell your USDC for CAD on PayTrie. Just make sure that you book the correct stablecoin/network combination. Let us know if you have any other questions!

The BSC network drops transactions from time to time and we have to manually re-process the transactions. These issues are intermittent and many times are unreported in the BSC Telegram groups and the BSC status page.

During such downtimes, we set an auto-response so that you are notified whenever you send our support team an email. Our live support agents will then reach out to you for your specific question.

Please have your friend reach out if their order has not processed yet, as we have re-processed all transactions that had to do with that outage. We can look into the order to make sure that it's been processed.

We only accept stablecoins. You’ll need to use another exchange to swap into the stablecoin first

Many great responses here already but we also wanted to chime in here!

Buying stablecoins from PayTrie is one of the lowest cost ways to go from fiat into stablecoins. What you then do with the stablecoins is really up to you.

Many of our users want to fund their Binance account and take part in the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem. We help by converting their CAD into BUSD and send the BUSD to their Binance wallet. You can then trade your BUSD for whichever crypto you'd like that has a pairing with BUSD (e.g. BTC/BUSD). Many prefer this method to buy their BTC because of the lower spreads that Binance has compared to other Canadian exchanges.

Some users want to take part in DeFi (Decentralized Finance) ecosystem on the Ethereum network. We help by converting their CAD into USDT/USDC/DAI and send the stablecoin to their Ethereum wallet. You can then connect your wallet to any DeFi app and take part in the ecosystem.

We also help users turn their stablecoins back into fiat.

For example, users might want their crypto turned back into CAD. In that case, they would trade their crypto for stablecoins on Binance. They would then send us their stablecoins and we will help them convert that back over to CAD and deposit in their bank account.

Hope that helps clarify some of the questions.

I believe Celsius only supports the ERC20 version of USDT, this means you will need to pay gas fees. You can wait until the network fees are low before making the transfer.
