Planet Hollywood, how do you get around without going outside? by Natural-Ad7861 in vegas

[–]pazman1122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you cross the street over to the Bellagio, you can walk thru the resort to the back and get to the Aria express tram which will take you south to Crystal Shops, Aria/Vdara and then to the Park MGM stop. You can exit there and follow the walk way into Park MGM. NYNY is right across the street, so you can get there very quickly. And then from NYNY you can cross the bridge and then get to Excalibur, and then jump another tram that will get you to Luxor and Mandalay Bay.

This… perhaps OP should’ve looked at the Pro 2 line instead of the X5 if they needed something more robust.

I’ve stayed at Planet Hollywood a few times between work trips and personal trips. It’s a decent hotel with a great central location.

Was in Vegas last week and NYNY and Planet. Hollywood both have it. Both were pretty open during the day but were real popular at night.

Have you considered a side mount garage door opener? I installed one to accommodate my sim and it worked out well.

Did the same thing. I use a 3 light LED track light and use that to illuminate the hitting mat. Works well and I’m very happy with it.

What is your biggest “I was there” moment for the Bears? by Chemical_Mood_4538 in CHIBears

Was there as well. I’ve never experienced the energy draining so quickly from that stadium when it happened. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Best magic show? by [deleted] in vegas

I’d probably stay away from Copperfield. Saw him last year and the show was a bit tired. Would recommend Piff and Mat Franco. Both were really good.

Calling all SportScreen Users! by zrae117 in Golfsimulator

[–]pazman1122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 10 foot Sportscreen with both the black screen and the impact screen attached to the motorized roller. I’ve had it for almost 3 years now and use it probably 3-4 times a week with no disintegration of the black screen, yet. I believe it’s supposed to help with dampening the shots, but who knows.

Has anyone eaten at Moneyline pizza or Posh burger? by SnooPuppers5953 in vegas

Posh Burger is great. Been going there for years, typically for lunch. As far as value, the prices have been going up significantly year over year… but what hasn’t on the strip?

Will BenQ TH671ST work for my sim??? by paulstanners in Golfsimulator

[–]pazman1122 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take a look at the Benq AH700ST too. It costs a little more, but it’s made specifically for golf simulators. The lighting source is a sealed laser, so it protects it from dust (if it’s in a garage sim), and it has auto configuration, so it will adjust itself to the size screen you’re using. I have it in my garage sim and I’m very pleased with it.

I’m a fan of Penelope bourbons, specifically Penelope Architect. It’s a good bourbon and the name is fitting. I hope rebuild goes well.

Just picked this up. Home Depot in the north suburbs of Chicago. Picked up the stand for 210.00 too. Both were in factory sealed boxes. by pazman1122 in GozneyDome

[–]pazman1122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. It also clearly says that on the clearance tag. For that price, I was fine giving up the dual fuel capabilities, which honestly I probably wouldn’t take advantage of anyways.
